Outdoor Learning Progression Measure

Please note that in order to follow this tool, you need to have previous training to ensure you are qualified to work with children using tools/ fire. Also will need to have previous knowledge on knots and some activites.
This tool is based around 5 key ‘skills’ which are offered to children over a 6 week programme.
The skills include:
Fire
Knots
Team Work
Tool use
NatureIt also incorporates 5 minutes peace or mindfulness within each session
There are 9 levels, ranging from toddlers through to Year 6. But no level is set as it depends on the children you are working with.
Each level incorporates the 5 skills and shows an element of progression/difficulty.
Accompanying each level is a certificate of achievement for the children, if you wish you give.
Each pack contains:
- the skill sets
- record sheets
- planning tool
- copy of each certificate.
Extra certificates can be ordered separately.
